Transforming Limitations into Creative Opportunities
The architectural challenge was significant: a floor with a mere 2.2-meter ceiling height and limited natural light from one side. Instead of masking these constraints, GAMMA Architects embraced them. The solution? The entire ceiling is adorned with heat-resistant aluminum tape, approximately 20 kilometers of it meticulously applied by skilled artisans. This unconventional approach transforms a potential obstacle into a dynamic focal point.
As light interacts with the aluminum, it creates a rhythmic play of reflections that parallels the energetic motion lines found in manga art. These shifting reflections invite movement within the space, beckoning workers to engage more deeply with their creativity.
